RTSQ offers the Safe Driving Awareness Programs here in the North Coast Region. The
consequences of driving practices are discussed and family members and friends of road trauma
victims and Emergency Services personnel give first-hand accounts of how a road trauma incident
has affected their lives.

One of our inspirational speakers is Anita Rowland, a Queensland Police Officer for the last 9
years. In 2004, Anita and her two sons were involved in a horrific road trauma incident that changed
their lives forever.

We also have a representative speak on behalf of Roadcraft, a community-based, not-for-profit
organisation dedicated to reducing road trauma.

The RTSQ Safe Driving Awareness Programs are held at RSL Clubs, High Schools and other
venues across the North Coast Region.
